Soul Warrior scratched from Pa. Derby

Soul Warrior, the morning-line favorite for Monday's at Philadelphia Park, was scratched from the race after developing a temperature on Sunday, trainer Steve Asmussen said.

Soul Warrior, owned by Ahmed Zayat, was coming off a victory over Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird in the West Virginia Derby.

The Pennsylvania Derby is now down to a field of eight with Duke of Mischief, the Iowa Derby winner, likely to go off favored.
