Solvalla: 2020 Elitloppet to go as planned

According to a release on elitloppet.se, the 2020 edition of the Elitloppet will be contested on its scheduled date (May 31) despite the ongoing issues with COVID-19.

Solvalla Racetrack, where the Elitloppet is contested, is currently closed to fans while racing continues and no decision has been made as of yet whether people will be able to attend the race. A final decision on whether fans can attend will come on May 4.

The Sweden Cup, a prestigious race during Elitloppet weekend, has been canceled.
