Solid undercard supports Sam Davis at Tampa Bay Downs

An outstanding renewal of the Grade 3 Tampa Bay Stakes is part of the Saturday undercard at Tampa Bay Downs, with accomplished veterans such as Admission Office, Fancy Liquor, and Sole Volante entered in the 1 1/16-mile turf race, along with the Chad Brown pair of Greyes Creek and Delaware. Thirteen are entered, with as many as 12 allowed to start.
The Tampa Bay and its filly-mare companion, the Grade 3 Endeavour, both offer $150,000 purses, plus another $25,000 to the winner if he or she is a registered Florida-bred. Counterparty Risk and New York Girl are among the principals in a field of seven in the Endeavour.

The only non-graded stakes on the day is the $100,000 Suncoast, a points qualifier (10-4-2-1) for the April 30 Kentucky Oaks. The mile and 40-yard Suncoast drew a field of 10 3-year-old fillies, with Gulf Coast and Honorifique among the major contenders.
