Smokin Again sprinting again

Smokin Again will be turning back from two turns to about five furlongs Sunday at Louisiana Downs in the eighth, a $35,000 optional claimer for fillies and mares which has third-level allowance conditions. It will be run at about five furlongs on the turf.

Smokin Again is 2 for 6 over the local course, with one of those wins coming at a mile and the other at five-eighths in the $50,000 Princess in 2008. In her most recent start, Smokin Again was fifth in a $50,000 optional claimer at a mile on turf May 23.
