Slides Choice's tallies

Slides Choice was kept back off the early pace in the $50,000 Tomboy at River Downs before rallying on the far turn and drawing clear in upper stretch to win by 3 3/4 lengths. Trained by Tim Hamm, Slides Choice has now won all three of her starts this season. A 3-year-old daughter of Devil His Due, Slides Choice was the Ohio 2-year-old champion in 2008. Lipstick 'n Lace set the pace until upper stretch and held on gamely for second, 5 1/2 lengths in front of High Pin in third. Trained by Kris Nemann, Lipstick 'n Lace was attempting two turns for the first time.

Slides Choice ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:49.40 over a sloppy track and returned $3 to win in the field of nine 3-year-old fillies.
