“We put some lengthier works in her down at Belmont, we just wanted to stretch her legs,” trainer Chad Brown said. “She’s ready to go.”
Sistercharlie, a seven-time Grade 1 stakes winner in the U.S., has not run since finishing third in last year’s Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf at Santa Anita.
As of Monday, the only other confirmed starters for the Ballston Spa, run at 1 1/16 miles on turf, were Call Me Love and Starship Jubilee.
