Mary Rampellini|Oct 22, 2010

Silver City, who spent some time on the Kentucky Derby trail in 2009, and Jet Phone, whose lone runner is multiple stakes winner Aces N Kings, will both be standing stud at Valor Farm in Pilot Point, Texas, in 2011.

Silver City retires with a record of 4 wins from 8 starts for earnings of $181,930. He won the Dixieland at Oaklawn in 2009, then was second to early Kentucky Derby favorite Old Fashioned in the track's Grade 3 Southwest. He is a son of Unbridled's Song and will stand for $2,000.

Jet Phone is a three-time winner by Phone Trick. He will stand for $1,500. Both horses are owned by Clarence Scharbauer.
