Michael Burns Rafael Hernandez completes a sweep of Sunday's six-figure stakes aboard Signature Spring in the Colin.

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Signature Spring will look to remain undefeated in his third career start in Monday’s $125,000 Bull Page Stakes over six furlongs on Tapeta for Ontario-sired 2-year-olds at Woodbine.

Signature Spring recorded his first stakes win last time out Sept. 11, recording a 72 Beyer Speed Figure for his 1 1/4-length victory over Junket in the Colin Stakes, which also was run over six furlongs on Tapeta.

“He ran really good,” trainer Sid Attard said. “I really think he’s a nice colt. He’s doing everything right. He’s been feeling really good.”

Signature Spring has settled off the pace and rallied in the stretch in both of his races. Attard said jockey Rafael Hernandez appears to be handling Signature Spring very nicely and was positive about his most recent work last Monday, when he breezed five furlongs in 1:00.60.

“Last time I worked him, I gave him a horse three lengths in front, and he caught him easily,” Attard said.
