Coady Photography She'screative, who paid $4 Saturday night, has now won both of her starts.

She’screative will attempt to run her record to 3 for 3 Saturday night when she takes on fellow stakes winners Janae and Emily’s Lollipop in the $50,000 Evangeline Downs Princess.

The race is one of two stakes on the final card of the meet. The $50,000 Evangeline Downs Prince has lured Hardworkcleanlivin, the third-place finisher in the Grade 3 Bashford Manor at Churchill Downs.

The Prince and Princess are for 2-year-olds. The races will each be run over six furlongs.

She’sacreative won her debut June 28 at Evangeline, rolling by 8 1/2 lengths in a maiden special weight. She’screative is seeking a sweep of Evangeline’s two stakes for 2-year-old fillies, having won a division of the D.S. “Shine” Young Futurity for statebreds in her last start July 29. She’screative dueled for the lead and prevailed by 2 1/4 lengths under regular rider Dusty Shepherd.

“She got headed, and I liked how she dug back in and came on,” trainer J.R. Caldwell said.

“You always worry about open company, coming out of statebreds going into open company, but I think she can run with that bunch.”

She’screative is a daughter of Creative Cause who races for her breeder, Thomas L. Holyfield.

Emily’s Lollipop won the $50,000 Louisiana Cup Juvenile Fillies in her last start Aug. 5 at Louisiana Downs, while Janae won a division of the $100,000 Texas Thoroughbred Futurity on July 22 at Lone Star Park.

The Prince drew the first two finishers from the colts and geldings division of the D.S. “Shine” Young Futurity, Ready Prospector and I Want a Picture. A head separated the two in the 5 1/2-furlong race, with Ready Prospector holding off the Caldwell-trained I Want a Picture.

“We just needed a few more yards the other day,” Caldwell said. “I think the six furlongs is going to help him.”

Caldwell said I Want a Picture found himself farther off the pace than he expected in the Shine Young, and theorized he might have been affected by the wet track.

“I don’t know if it was because of the mud,” he said. “He was lost in the mud down the backside. I didn’t think he was going to get any part of it.”

Danny Sorenson has the mount for Flurry Racing Stables.

Ready Prospector will break just outside of I Want a Picture in post 8. Gerard Melancon has the mount for trainer Oscar Modica.

Hardworkcleanlivin has raced once since the Bashford Manor, finishing fifth in the $50,000 Manzano on Aug. 12 at The Downs at Albuquerque.

Ivan Fallunovalot returns

Grade 3-winning sprinter Ivan Fallunovalot will make his first start since March in Saturday night’s seventh race at Remington Park. The six-furlong allowance drew eight, including stakes winners Supermason, Apprehender, and Meme Jo.

“I’m hoping he’s tight enough to handle these guys,” said Tom Howard, who trains Ivan Fallunovalot. “I think he is. He thinks he is … that’s all that matters.”

Ivan Fallunovalot was sidelined with a soft-tissue injury following a runner-up finish to Whitmore in the $125,000 Hot Springs on March 11 at Oaklawn. Howard said owner Lewis Matthews Jr. was patient in giving Ivan Fallunovalot all the time he needed to heal.

“Things have gone real well and it’s time to go,” Howard said. “It’s been a long time, so we figured this would be a good place to start. Of course, we’re shooting for the David M. Vance.”

Ivan Fallunovalot has won the Vance each of the last three years. It will be renewed on Sept. 24 at Remington. Luis Quinonez has the mount on Ivan Fallunovalot on Saturday.

“There’s some speed in there, it looks like,” Howard said. “Ivan, he kind of likes a little speed out in front. That will help, I hope.”
