She's a Tiger headed home

She's a Tiger, who broke poorly and finished seventh of nine in the Eight Belles on Friday at Churchill Downs, came out of the race well and will return to California on Monday, co-owner Allen Aldrich said Saturday morning.

"She ate up good and she's walking good," he said.

The Eight Belles was the first start of the year for last year's champion 2-year-old filly. The Eight Belles was designed as a prep for She's a Tiger for the Grade 1 Acorn at Belmont Park on the Belmont Stakes undercard on June 7, but trainer said after the race on Friday that those plans were now under review.
