She’s No Quant, the rapidly improving 3-year-old filly, is on schedule to have her graded stakes debut in the Grade 3 Torrey Pines Stakes at a mile at Del Mar on Aug. 30.
Trained by Ed Freeman for Paul and Zillah Reddam, She’s No Quant won her third consecutive start with a one-length victory in the $151,500 Fleet Treat Stakes for California-bred 3-year-old fillies at seven furlongs at Del Mar on July 24.
The Fleet Treat was She’s No Quant’s first start on dirt. In the spring at Santa Anita, She’s No Quant won consecutive starts in six-furlong grass races against maidens on May 22 and an allowance on June 12. By Pavel, She’s No Quant has won 3 of 5 starts and earned $180,900.

The $150,000 Torrey Pines Stakes is run at a mile and is the richest race of the track’s summer meeting for open company 3-year-old fillies on dirt.
“I think she’ll get a mile,” Freeman said last weekend. “She ran like that would not be a problem.”
Last summer, Om N Joy won the Fleet Treat and Torrey Pines in consecutive starts as the fourth and fifth wins of a five-race winning streak. Om N Joy won the Grade 2 Santa Margarita Stakes at Santa Anita on May 30 and starts in Saturday’s Grade 1 Clement Hirsh Stakes at Del Mar.
