She’s All Wolfe races at Remington Park for the first time this year in Friday night’s $70,000 Bob Barry Memorial, the first of three local stakes engagements penciled in for her. The Bob Barry, which is for fillies and mares at 7 1/2 furlongs on turf, is part of a nine-race card featuring a trio of stakes for Oklahoma-breds. One of the top Oklahoma-breds racing, She’s All Wolfe has won the last two runnings of the $145,000 Oklahoma Classics Distaff. The race is a goal again this season, said trainer Donnie Von Hemel. The final local stakes penciled in for She’s All Wolfe is the $100,000 She’s All In on Dec. 17, which is named for her dam, who won four straight runnings of the Oklahoma Classics Distaff. But the first order of business is the Bob Barry Memorial. She’s All Wolfe, an earner of more than $600,000 for her breeder and owner, Robert Zoellner, will face nine others, including defending winner Run Slewpy Run. She’s All Wolfe enters off a strong first half of the year. She won the $180,000 Shawnee in June at Churchill Downs. Prior to that, She’s All Wolfe ran second in the Grade 3 Bayakoa at Oaklawn, fourth to champion Ce Ce in that track’s Grade 2 Azeri, and fifth in the Grade 1 La Troienne at Churchill. She’s All Wolfe last raced July 2, finishing fourth in the Grade 2 Fleur de Lis at Churchill. “We’ve kind of jumped into the deep end of the pool,” Von Hemel said. “She’s run some very nice races this year. It’s gotten her graded stakes-placed and a Churchill Downs stakes win, and that does a lot for her value and the value of her siblings, and Dr. Zoellner has quite a few that are related to her.” She’s All Wolfe will be making a rare start on turf Friday, and is looking for her first win on the surface. She was third in last year’s Bob Barry Memorial and second in her only other turf race. She’s All Wolfe’s dam was 3 for 7 on turf en route to earning $1.1 million. “She usually shows up and gives a pretty good account of herself,” Von Hemel said. “I probably wish it was a little further.” Von Hemel said She’s All Wolfe was freshened after the Fleur de Lis with an eye on a Remington campaign to close out 2022. Richard Eramia has the mount from post 2. Run Slewpy Run, who is 4 for 4 on the turf at Remington, will break from post 10. Luis Quinonez has the mount for W. Mike Jones and trainer Jesse Oberlander. ◗ Shannon C will break from the rail in the five-furlong Turf Sprint and will be one to catch. Floyd Wethey Jr. has the mount for B and S Racing and trainer Scott Young. ◗ Quarky has the speed to get position from post 11 in the Red Earth for 3-year-olds and up at 7 1/2 on turf. The race drew 12. Cristian Torres has the mount for Jerry Namy and trainer Karl Broberg.
