Barbara D. Livingston She's All Ready wins her debut by 8 1/4 lengths Friday.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – She’s All Ready, a New York-bred daughter of Girolamo, opened eyes Friday with a front-running, 8 1/4-length victory. She ran 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:04.63 and earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 72.
Jim Ryerson, who trains She’s All Ready for Michael Salerno’s Nirvana Stable, said he wasn’t surprised that she won but was surprised by how authoritatively she won.
“She’s always been fast, expected her to run well, but how do you expect one to run like that?” Ryerson said. “And I love the way she galloped out.”
Ryerson said he would look at the $200,000 Seeking the Ante Stakes for New York-breds on Aug. 29. There is also the Grade 1, $350,000 Spinaway on Sept. 5.
