She’s All Ready up for a challenge

ELMONT, N.Y. – Coming off two dynamite efforts at Saratoga, She’s All Ready would have been an odds-on favorite in Sunday’s $150,000 Joseph A. Gimma for New York-bred juvenile fillies.
But her connections feel She’s All Ready deserves a shot at a bigger prize and will run her in next Saturday’s Grade 1, $400,000 Frizette at Belmont Park.
“Seems like the time to test the waters,” trainer Jim Ryerson said. “She’s talented. We’ll see just how talented she is, see how far she wants to go.”
She’s All Ready, a daughter of Girolamo, won her debut at 5 1/2 furlongs on Aug. 7 by 8 1/4 lengths and came back three weeks later to win the Seeking the Ante Stakes at 6 1/2 furlongs by three lengths. In the Frizette, she will have to go a mile.
She’s All Ready was scheduled to breeze Saturday at Belmont Park. Junior Alvarado will ride She’s All Ready in the Frizette because Kendrick Carmouche, aboard for the first two starts, will be at Keeneland that day.
Others expected for the Frizette include Anna Rae, Desert Tune, Nemoralia, Nickname, Where’s the D, and Width. Delicate Lady and Thrilled are possible.
