Ocean Downs lines earlier this season fit very well here. (6) RONNIE RIDGE is a share type for Wagner but shipped to Philly for a qualifier 10/22. (5) K J DASH hasn’t been out of the top three all year or in his life. Must use in vertical wagers.

Race 2: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake Final for 2 year old Colt and Gelding Trotters

(4) SWERVINGMERVIN and (3) MANE MAN CHARLIE have traded wins in their past two starts with each winning a race wire to wire with the other second. The former figures a better price again but trip could determine who wins the rubber match. (5) HS JESSE has two seconds in two lifetime starts. Top two look faster so far but lightly raced type should improve. (2) ROAN RIDGE has won from off the pace and that style could suit this race especially in exotics.

(4) CAVIART SOPHIE looms large here off 1:54 1/5 win on 10/6 here. She’s been 1/9 odds in her past two and will be tough on the front. (7) CAVIART AINSLEY is another Alagna trainee who chased choice in last. She moves outside now and could struggle to find the pocket. (2) CAVIART DAWN is the third charge from that barn looking sharp. Six length win in latest at short odds. (1) SWEET PIRATEGIRL has checks vs these types in the past. She has confidence now after nice 10/13 win.

Race 4: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake Final for 2 year old Colt and Gelding Pacers

(2) BROOKSFORREAL has made $125k this year. His recent blowout wins are hard to ignore. (8) CAVIART ACT TWO kicked 27 3/5 for Nancy Takter 10/20 after tough posts at Lexington. Needs a trip to challenge choice. (1) BDAY added Lasix in last and grabbed a win. If she grabs the pocket here can get an exacta check. (4) PAXAMILLION is racing well vs these and has the speed to gain position here.

Race 5: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake Final for 2 year old Filly Trotters

(8) CAVIART GLORY shipped here after a month off and won by 20 lengths. She could make them all chase her again. (4) SPEEDY GAL added hopples 10/12 and grabbed two seconds in a row. This race is wide open and should lend itself to a price. (7) K J THE THIRTEENTH has been favored in his last four PM starts. Stayed flat in latest and was second. She needs to behave from wide draw. (1) SONG MASTER stayed flat in last and won well at big odds. Fits if she can blast out early.

Race 6: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake Final for 3 year old Colt and Gelding Pacers

(7) BGOING AWAY is in the best form of these right now with two wins in his past four starts. Needs to fire from the gate from this post. (1) CAVIART SIMON would be the top pick if he didn’t draw the rail. Has two breaks in his past three starts so if he stays flat he contends. (4) PETES FOR REAL has made $101k but lacks a win this season. Needs to be closer early. (5) THE MARSHALL finished up well in last two, can grab a slice at a big price.

Race 7: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake Final for 3 year old Filly Trotters

(5) PLATINUM PROPOSAL has the class here and his lines at this track are stellar. Short price is coming. (7) RIP AWAY is another that has made $ with 114k on her card. She has the speed to grab a spot early and get a check. (6) GLIDE ALONG has had gait woes in the past. If flat she will be moving forward late. (3) ROYAL ROBIN was solid here 10/5 and had no chance in latest.

Race 8: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake Final for 2 year old Filly Pacers

(1) TOYS LITTLE TINKER produced a big Mile at Rosecroft 10/9 and followed it up with a win here on 10/13. She has a class and speed edge here. (2) KJ BECKY is lightly raced but dropped three seconds in her third start. She plays here at a price. (5) ALEXANDRIA’S DREAM has four wins this year and should be in front early. (7) CAVIART ROSE is a closer in a speed field race, use her in verticals.

Race 9: Winners Over

(3) MARCUS SEELSTER comes out of a fast Rosecroft race and has seven wins this year. Nice wins here on 9/15 and 9/22. (5) BALTIMORE JACK N drew poorly in last but won two straight prior. Should sit a forward trip here. (1) SPEAKING OF COFFEE has been on the lead in five straight starts. She proven she fits in this class on 10/20. (6) A MAJOR OMEN is a live closer who has had poor posts recently.

Race 10: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake for 4 year old and up Horse & Geldings.

(4) HILLBILLYFAIRYTALE has faced much tougher than these and should win at a short price. (5) LEROYS SKIPN SKOOL is second on the class ladder here and won by nine lengths on 10/5. (1) HILLBILLYNITESHIFT finished up well on 10/20, short field should help chances.

Race 11: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake for 4 year old and up Horse & Geldings

(1) VLAHOS has been struggling at upper levels in Delaware recently. This drop will be welcomed. (2) K J ALEXANDER has been off since August but qualified in 1:56 3/5. Repeat of that contends in this spot. (3) TERRYS WATCHING needs a wake up off last four. He did win on 9/21 at big odds.

Race 12: Virginia Breeders Fund Stake for 4 year old and up Horse & Geldings

(3) HILBILLYPACINHILL is the classiest of these and comes off a nice win with a :28 kick on 10/20. (1) CAVIART STONEY outraced odds from a wide draw in that spot. Natural exacta partner in a short field. (4) MIRACLEPOWERFULL hasn’t won a race in two years but has 13 shares; grabs another here.

(1) ELLEN’S WISH has a class edge, speed and a recent win. She controls this race. (3) JOAN DEER closed up to be second in her last start. If she can use her kick she can grab the place spot here. (4) ZSA ZSA DABOR makes start number 100 here. She has 35 shares lifetime.
