She Likes to Party streaks into My Trusty Cat

She Likes to Party has won her first three races by a combined margin of 24 lengths and will attempt to remain undefeated Tuesday, when she makes her two-turn debut in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat at Delta Downs.
The race, which will be run over seven furlongs, is for 2-year-old fillies. The competitive field of seven includes the stakes-placed Taylor’s Tourist; Keeneland maiden winners Color of Dawn and Littlestitious; and Indiana allowance winner Xtrema.
She Likes to Party is a stakes winner over seven furlongs – at a one-turn configuration. Her trainer, Greg Tracy, feels she will handle the two-turn trip Tuesday.
“I don’t think that will be an issue,” he said.
She Likes to Party enters the My Trusty Cat off back-to-back wire jobs at Century Mile, which is in Alberta, Canada. She captured the $40,000 Princess Margaret by 14 1/2 lengths on Aug. 14 and the $57,000 Freedom of the City by 3 1/2 lengths on Sept. 25. She Likes to Party started her career at Prairie Meadows, with a six-length score July 17.

“She broke her maiden pretty impressively,” Tracy said. “She had been outworking everybody of the 2-year-olds I had.”
She Likes to Party headed to Canada after her maiden victory because owner Don Danard is from Calgary, Tracy said.
She Likes to Party has since returned to this region to prepare for what will be her first start in two months. At one point, she had been considered for an early November stakes at Del Mar.
“She’s kind of been in between races,” Tracy said. “I had her at Remington for three weeks, then got her into Delta. She’s worked there over the track, been there a little bit. It’s kind of a deeper track. They kind of need to get over it once or twice.”
Alex Birzer, who was aboard She Likes to Party at Prairie Meadows, has the mount Tuesday as he is now based at Delta. The pair will break from post 4.
“She seems real sensible, seems like she’ll rate,” Tracy said. “We’ve had her behind horses in the morning.”
She Likes to Party is a daughter of Maclean’s Music and the All Gone mare Gone to Party.
Taylor’s Tourist is back home in Louisiana after a trio of stakes starts in Kentucky. She was a 9 3/4-length debut winner Aug. 13 at Evangeline Downs. Ry Eikleberry has the mount from the rail for Mark Norman and trainer Scott Gelner.
