Shared Account joined an elite club when Sharing won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf

Shared Account joined an elite club as the fourth Breeders’ Cup winner to be the dam of a Breeders’ Cup winner when her daughter Sharing won the Juvenile Fillies Turf.
Shared Account, a Pleasantly Perfect mare who won the 2010 Filly and Mare Turf for Sagamore Farm, joins a group of mares led by the unbeaten champion and blue hen Personal Ensign. The 1988 Distaff winner, Personal Ensign produced multiple Grade 1 winners, including 1995 Juvenile Fillies winner My Flag, who went on to produce 2002 Juvenile Fillies winner Storm Flag Flying in an unprecedented three-generation accomplishment. The other member of the club is 1993 Distaff winner Hollywood Wildcat, the dam of 2000 Mile winner War Chant.

Sharing, bred by Sagamore, was a $350,000 purchase by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Gainesway Stable out of last year’s Fasig-Tipton Saratoga selected yearling sale. The Speightstown filly has now won three of four starts. She came into the Breeders’ Cup off a victory in the Selima Stakes at Laurel.
Shared Account is also the dam of stakes winner Riley’s Choice and stakes-placed I’m Pretty Strong. She delivered a filly from the first crop of Mastery this year, and was bred to Medaglia d’Oro for 2020.
