The first mares have been confirmed in foal to Shackleford, Dialed In and Jersey Town, a trio of Grade 1 winning stallions standing their first seasons at Darby Dan Farm in Lexington, Ky.

Shackleford, a 5-year-old Forestry horse, is represented by French Laundry and Media Starlett, both in foal on Feb. 11 covers, and Macanique, in foal on a Feb. 12 cover.

French Laundry, a winning Seeking the Gold mare, is a half-sister to stakes winner Hoosick Falls and to stakes-placed Manor Prospect. Media Starlett, a daughter of Mass Media, is a winner and stakes-placed.

Macanique is a half-sister to Group 1 winner and sire Thano. The Maria's Mon mare is out of a half-sister to Ilustrador, Horse of the Year in South Africa, as well as to Grade 1 winners Indalecio and Ishkra.

Shackleford captured the 2011 Preakness Stakes and placed in three other Grade 1 events during his 3-year-old campaign, including a runner-up effort in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. Returned to the track as a 4-year-old, he won Grade 1 events around both one and two turns, taking the Metropolitan Handicap and Clark Handicap. He also defeated champion sprinter Amazombie in the Grade 2 Churchill Downs Handicap. He retired with $3,090,101 in career earnings.

Shackleford, out of Broodmare of the Year Oatsee, is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Lady Joanne, Grade 2 winner Afleeting Lady, Grade 3 winner Baghdaria, and stakes winner Stephanoatsee. He is standing his first season for a fee of $20,000.

Dialed In, a 5-year-old Mineshaft horse, is represented by A. K. A. Xe, in foal on a Feb. 11 cover; and Diadella, in foal on a Feb. 12 cover.

A. K. A. Xe, a winning Indian Ocean mare, is a three-quarter sister to Grade 3 winner Sea Siren, and a half-sister to stakes-placed Faith to Faith and Sweet Kayla Ann.

The Diesis mare Diadella, a Grade 2 winner herself, is already the dam of three winners from as many starters. Out of the Grade 3-winning Dynaformer mare Rabiadella, Diadella is a half-sister to stakes winners Say A Novena and El Kingdom and stakes producers Love and Marry and Forbidden Kiss.

Dialed In won the Grade 1 Florida Derby and Grade 3 Holy Bull Stakes during his brief career, earning $941,936. He is out of the graded stakes-placed Storm Cat mare Miss Doolittle, a daughter of champion Eliza, and is a half-brother to stakes winner and graded stakes producer Broadway Girl. Dialed In is standing his initial season for a fee of $7,500.

Jersey Town, a 7-year-old Speightstown horse, recently had I'lltakeit confirmed in foal on a 15-day scan. The Langfuhr mare is out of Canadian champion Wavering Girl, making her a three-quarter sister to Grade 1 winner and sire Military and a half-sister to stakes winner Glenco Kid.

Out of prominent producer Battle Creek Girl, Wavering Girl is a full sister to stakes placed Matriarch, a multiple stakes producer. She is also a half-sister to Grade 2 winners Tricky Creek, Parade Ground, Parade Leader, and Speed Dialer; stakes winner Everhope; and stakes-placed Swiss Asset.
