Seen It All Before survives inquiry to win Bunty Lawless

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Seen It All Before ($22.70) edged out Kingsport with determination and survived an inquiry Sunday to capture the $127,400 Bunty Lawless Stakes at Woodbine.
With Luis Contreras aboard, Seen It All Before raced on the outside at the back of the pack on the backstretch in the one-mile turf event. He made up ground on the turn and hooked up with Kingsport in the stretch.
Seen It All Before and Kingsport dueled for the lead from the eighth pole to the wire, and the former prevailed by a nose in 1:36 over a course labeled as good.
The favored Born in a Breeze rallied along the rail from ninth to finish a close third in the 14-horse field of Ontario-sired runners.
An inquiry involving the top two finishers resulted in no change.
“My trip was pretty clean,” said Contreras. “I had nobody outside of me. I had a nice, clean trip on the outside and just tried to stay there.”
Seen It All Before earned $75,000 in his second stakes victory for Colebrook Farm and trainer Ashlee Brnjas.
