By Scott Shapiro BELMONT AT THE BIG A RACE 7: THE QUEENS M G looks to rebound after an off-the-board finish last out in the Spinaway Stakes. The Thousand Words filly stalked early and tired late in her first Grade 1 start, but it came over a muddy Saratoga main track. If she can get back to her career-best performance two back in the Adirondack Stakes, she should handle this field. (1) BELMONT AT THE BIG A RACE 8: EXECUTIVE ORDER broke well and worked out a perfect stalking trip in his debut score in late August at Saratoga. The Unified gelding earned a 78 Beyer in that first start and should move forward here for trainer Phil Serpe. CHANCER MCPATRICK enters the Champagne Stakes a perfect 2 for 2. The McKinzie colt should be rolling late once again under jockey Flavien Prat. (2) :: Bet with the Best! Get FREE All-Access PPs and Weekly Cashback when you wager on DRF Bets. SANTA ANITA RACE 3: NON COMPLIANT broke well from her inside draw on debut in late August and showed a lot of professionalism in her victory at Del Mar for trainer Bob Baffert. She moves outside and stretches out to two turns in her first start against graded stakes foes. TENMA enters the Oak Leaf Stakes a perfect 2 for 2. The daughter of Nyquist gets blinkers for the first time. RIO DEL SOL was beaten handily in her first start, but the American Freedom filly is capable of better and is likely to be overlooked at the windows. (3) KEENELAND RACE 9: HANDSOME PANTS was impressive on debut last month at Churchill Downs when he received a difference-making ride by Brian Hernandez Jr. He should get a fast pace to run at in his first start against winners. EAST AVENUE was bet down heavily in his first start for trainer Brendan Walsh and won for fun. The Godolphin homebred appears to be a serious racehorse. FEROCIOUS re-rallied to earn second as the odds-on favorite in the Hopeful Stakes at Saratoga last month. He might get overbet, but is in with a significant chance nonetheless. (3) SANTA ANITA RACE 9: GETAWAY CAR ran better than it looks last out in the Del Mar Futurity when he got caught up in an early speed duel and tired late to finish fourth. He should relax a lot better on the stretch out with the blinkers coming off for the first time.
