Heavily-backed The Word Is Out and Odds On Hialeah collected victories in a pair of $65,000 Ohio Sires Stakes sections for rookie filly pacers that were featured on Friday night's program at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
Prolific Fire (Austin Hanners) led the way to the 27 1/5 quarter and 57 3/5 half in the first grouping while The Word Is Out (Dan Noble) got going first-up from third on the second turn. The Word Is Out came up quickly on the rim, but Prolific Fire was able to counter and quicken at the inside to leave The Word Is Out to the 1:24 1/5 three-quarters and around the final bend.
The Word Is Out wouldn't be denied, though, as she finally forged her way past Prolific Fire in the stretch and then kept a second-over Odds On Chesapeake (Kayne Kauffman) at bay to the wire, scoring by three-quarters of a length in 1:53. Prolific Fire had to settle for third.

In the other division Queen Of Fear (Kurt Sugg) took charge nearing the 26 2/5 quarter and then jammed on the brakes as they raced in the frontstretch for the first time, causing confusion to many horses behind her and leading to Rose Run Ashlee (Noble) moving from fourth to first prior to the 55 3/5 half.
Skywalker Sea (Hanners) would roll first-over from third just after the half-mile marker, and that gave second-over Odds On Hialeah (Brett Miller) a live tow to three-quarters in 1:23 2/5 before Miller swung her out three-wide on the final bend. Odds On Hialeah would vault into the lead turning into the lane and then fended off Seaside Wishes (Kauffman), who fanned out after an inside trip, by half a length in 1:53. Queen Of Fear crossed the wire in third but was placed last for bothering the field past the quarter, resulting in Rose Run Ashlee being elevated to third.
A daughter of Lather Up trained by Virgil Morgan Jr., Odds On Hialeah was bred by Odds On Nourrir and is owned by Odds On Racing. Odds On Hialeah is four-for-four in the win column, has pocketed $103,500 and returned $3.00 to win.
