Scioto: Purse increase coming on July 12

Eldorado Scioto Downs is pleased to announce a 10 percent purse increase across-the-board effective Tuesday (July 12).

In 36 days of racing, Eldorado Scioto Downs has paid out over $8 million in purse monies and taken 6,364 entries. An average of 15 races go behind the gate to compete for approximately $221,000 in total purses per day.

With a daily post time of 3:15 P.M., live racing will continue to follow a Tuesday through Saturday schedule through Sept. 17. A special holiday card is also scheduled for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 5. For more information on the facility and live racing season, visit the Eldorado Scioto Downs website.
