Scioto: Carryovers, guaranteed pools ahead on Thursday

Due to three carryovers from the Wednesday (June 14) card, Eldorado Scioto Downs will guarantee two wagers for the Thursday (June 15) card. First post for the evening is 5:50 p.m.

The first guaranteed wager will be the 50-cent early Pick 4, which starts in race one. With a $9,832 carryover to jumpstart the pool, Scioto and the USTA's Strategic Wagering Program will guarantee the pool at $40,000.

The second guaranteed wager will be for the 50-cent early Pick 5, which kicks off in race three. The $3,862 carryover will get the pool started, with the guarantee set at $20,000. While not guaranteed, the late Pick 5, beginning in race eight, will have a carryover worth $2,388. Both Pick 5 wagers at Scioto have a low 14 percent takeout.

The 90-day Scioto Downs live racing season goes through Saturday, September 16. Racing is held each Tuesday and Wednesday with a 3:15 p.m. first post and Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with a 5:50 p.m. first post.
