* Gimmeawink ($9.80) bobbled at the break but recovered quickly, raced just off the pace, and drew off in the stretch to earn a five-length victory in the $100,000 Larry R. Riviello President's Cup Stakes for 3-year-olds at Philadelphia Park.

* Chauffe Au Rouge ($8.20) set a course record, covering 1 1/16 miles of turf in 1:40.80, while defending his title in the $50,000 Retama Park Turf Breeders' Cup Handicap.

* Lightly weighted at 112 pounds and even more lightly bet, Crook ($65.50) outfinished One Eyed Joker by three-quarters of a length in the $50,000 Barksdale Handicap at Louisiana Downs.

* Crossing Point ($10.80) went wire to wire under jockey Mario Pino to win the $50,000 Dave's Friend Stakes at Laurel Park.

* Bet on Joe ($6.80) stalked the dueling leaders to the stretch and drew off through the final furlong to score a 3 1/4-length win over Classic Appeal in the $40,000 Prairie Meadows Sprint.
