Saturday stakes recaps (7/3/04)

DRF Staff|Jul 06, 2004

* Ready to Live ($3) stalked the early pace before finishing with a flourish to score a two-length victory in the Rebel Stakes at Louisiana Downs.

* Spring Kitten ($31.40) found another gear turning for home and wore down Our Mariah to win the 5 1/2-furlong Buckland Stakes at Colonial Downs by a neck.

* Living a Dream ($8.60) proved his two previous victories this year over Bulldog George were no fluke Saturday, scoring a six-length victory in the Seattle Slew Handicap on a sloppy track at Fairmount Park.

* Timeintown ($6.60) improved her record to 2 for 2, scoring a gate-to-wire victory in the $47,450 Juan Gonzalez Memorial Stakes at the Alameda County Fair.
