* Pad the Wallet ($11.60) made her first stakes start a winning one Saturday, rallying strongly down the straight under E. J. Perrodin to win the $50,000 Old South Stakes at Louisiana Downs.

* Frost Princess ($6.20) got her second straight victory on the Pimlico turf, winning Saturday's $50,000 Pearl Necklace by 1 1/4 lengths over Cozy Gain.

* Cast No Shadow ($61.60), dismissed at odds of 29-1, took command at the top of the stretch and withstood a prolonged duel with Pyrite Springs to register his first stakes win in the $45,000 Green Carpet Stakes at River Downs.

* Missy Can Do ($5.20) successfully defended her title in the $12,813 Bluegrass Handicap on Saturday at Lincoln, holding off Up 'N Blumin for a three-quarter-length win under Curtis Kimes.
