Diamond Wildcat
Jim McCue/Maryland Jockey Club Diamond Wildcat wins the $50,000 Horatius Stakes at Laurel Park.

* Diamond Wildcat ($6.80), returning to a sprint after mixed results in a pair of two-turn races, wired a field of eight 3-year-olds by eight lengths in the $50,000 Horatius Stakes at six furlongs at Laurel Park.

* Leaving on My Mind ($7.60) overtook Major League in the stretch for a three-quarter-length win in the $40,000 Texas Heritage Stakes at Sam Houston Race Park.

* Up 'n Blumin ($3.80) established herself as one of the top Nebraska-bred fillies or mares with a 2 1/4-length win in the $25,800 Orphan Kist Handicap for statebreds at Fonner Park.
