* Making his first start on grass, Ragin Nonno ($14.60) rallied to score a head victory over Sans Serif in the $40,000 Tempe Handicap at Turf Paradise.
* Dodd ($18.80) became a stakes winner when she defeated 4-5 favorite Expectant Diva by two lengths in the $40,000 Houston Ladies for Texas-bred fillies and mares at Sam Houston Race Park.
* Tonight Rainbow ($3.20) recorded his ninth career win over the Fonner Park oval when he scored a five-length win in the $26,000 Budweiser-Tondi Stakes.
