* Green Team ($17.40) sprinted to a quick lead and was never challenged as he defeated a solid field to win the $58,850 Oakland Handicap at Golden Gate Fields.

* Jockey James Lopez made a successful return to the Kentucky circuit by giving Two Mile Hill ($8) a textbook ride Saturday, posting a clear-cut victory in the 25th running of the $49,500 My Charmer Stakes at Turfway Park.

* Ranging up along the outside in midstretch, Hostile Witness ($12.80) put away a stubborn Sounds Impossible to score a 1 1/2-length victory in the $60,000 Inaugural Stakes as Tampa Bay Downs began its live 2004-05 racing season.

* Two Down Automatic ($4) dueled with Oncearoundtwice and Charming Socialite early, then drove clear to a 3 1/4-length win in the $40,000 Conroe Stakes at Sam Houston Race Park.
