* Winter Garden ($3.50) seized command in midstretch en route to a workmanlike victory in the $136,125 Ontario Fashion Handicap at Woodbine.
* Roughly 3 1/2 hours after winning the Cordially Stakes at Delaware Park on the odds-on favorite, Shiny Sheet, Jeremy Rose rode Lady of the Future to her first victory in 14 months in the $55,000 Waya Stakes at Laurel Park.
* Bayakoa's Image ($7.20) defended her title in the $35,000 Black Mesa at Remington Park, winning by 9 1/2 lengths over Devout Sinner in the seven-furlong race for fillies and mares bred in Oklahoma.
* The front-running Mr. Mink overpowered his five rivals to post a five-length win in the $37,300 Benjamin Harrison Stakes for 3-year-old Indiana-breds at Hoosier Park.
* Academic Angel overtook pacesetter She's The Future into the stretch and powered home to a 5 1/2-length win in the $35,000 Jiffy Lube at Sam Houston Race Park.
* American Post scored his second Group 1 victory, winning the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster in England.
