Saratoga Race 1, (1:00 ET) - LIVE LONGSHOT
JOHN'S MARIAH (#4, 10-1) Her two races at the meet equal the best figures she ran as a 2-year-old, so a forward move may be in store. What's more, the filly moves closer to the inside as the potential lone speed on what has lately been a speed-favoring inner turf course. - Dave Litfin
Saratoga Race 4, (2:31 ET) - LIVE LONGSHOT
NEWFOUND ZAPPER (#3, 20-1) Looking for this one to improve second off the layoff after facing a tougher field here opening day in what was essentially his 3yo debut; showed some promise at two, which he will clearly have to build upon to get involved today, but he can get a piece of this at a big price. - Mike Beer
LIVE LIFE FAST (#9, 7-2) Returnee from a 10-month layoff presumably is primed to resume her promising career in even better fashion than last fall, when she was good enough to post back-to-back runner-up finishes. Morning drills and pedigree (by Bernardini) says she has every right to improve as she gets older; outer draw and the presence of Irad seal this deal. Let's just hope for a decent tote number. - Marty McGee
Saratoga Race 7, (4:06 ET) - LIVE LONGSHOT
SIMPLE INTEREST (#8, 12-1) returns to dirt after synthetic odds-on loss; barn's horses been running much better than win percentage would indicate. - Chuck Kuehhas
JACKSON BEND (#3, 10-1) returns to his preferred distance and should get a MUCH better race flow than he got in the Housebuster last time out; expecting big improvement. - Kenny Peck

Stock Fund (#5, 3-1)
Still a maiden after 20 career starts, and beaten favorite in all 5 starts so far this year, including two up here; always has an excuse of some kind to keep them coming back with their money, but she is clearly a good horse to bet against any time she's a short price at this point. - Mike Beer
