SARATOGA PICK 3 (RACES 3-5)

RACE 3

KEY's - 5, 6, 7

B's - 2

C's - None

IMANANDIANOUTLAW was behind SAROPIA last time but that was this filly's first start off the layoff, and the barn does well with runners making their 2nd starts off a break. Also, the pace should be quicker, and contested, this time around. Also including REGAL JOANNE, who had a tough trip in her only try on the grass to date, and RED CODE, who has grass figures that put her in the mix. Using SAROPIA only defensively, as that last figure has to be respected but she did blow a clear lead there.

KEY's - 7

B's - 1, 6

C's - 3

Keying California ship-in MICELI in this turf route, as he may be the controlling speed under John Velazquez. Almost have to include ML favorite WINNING CAUSE to some degree off that last Beyer but he may get even less pace here than he got in that last one.

B's - 1, 4, 5

C's - 2

TUVIA'S FORCE has a good shot at turning the tables on ITSAGOODTENDOLLARS, the horse who beat him two back, at this nine-furlong distance. I'm also including longshot GIANT INDIAN as a "B" play, on the theory that he's the main speed from the rail, as well as Finger Lake shipper TALK THERAPY and the consistent POINT TAKEN.
