SARATOGA PICK 3 (RACES 3-5)

Race 3

Key's - Crackerjack Jones, Dehere of the Cat

B's - None

C's - Coaltown Legend

CRACKERJACK JONES way the horse to beat after remarkable win here opening day, but if he's not as sharp this time while facing pressure again, DEHERE OF THE CAT can benefit. Classy old-timer COALTOWN LEGEND would also like some pace up front and is the backup.

Race 4

Key's - Bashful Bandit, Unbridled Logic, Yo Blue

B's - Coach A.J.

C's - Ballerino, Pyro City

Wide open $25k claimer requires coverage, but we'll try to beat likely heavily favored dropdown YO BLUE (while using him), especially with BASHFUL BANDIT, who performed well on turf earlier this year, and gets a positive trainer change off the claim.

Race 5

Key's - Maybry’s Challenge, Momma’s Mark

B's - Ainteasybeinggreen

C's - Ziggy the Great, Push Ups

Obviously tough to play into a race full of first time starters, but MOMMA'S MARK (dam was winner on grass, has two others foals to win on that surface & has a dirt prep in tow) & MAYBRY'S CHALLENGE (dam was stakes winner on grass & Weaver is live with everything – including firsters) are interesting. Think ML favorite AINTEASYBEINGGREEN is vulnerable, but want him as a backup since we're trying to beat favorites in the first two legs.
