Saratoga packages being offered

A company affiliated with the New York Racing Association is offering a package of amenities for most race cards at Saratoga Race Course this summer, according to NYRA.

The company, CID Entertainment, is selling the packages for $159 per person for Thursday-through-Sunday cards at Saratoga, with the exception of Aug. 24, the date of the Travers Stakes, when the package will be available for $259 per person.

The packages include full-day access to the clubhouse, a private viewing area on the picnic lawn at the top of the stretch of the grandstand apron, another private viewing area overlooking the paddock at the Balcony Bar, an all-day buffet and champagne reception at the Carousel Restaurant in the clubhouse, a walking tour of the track, a handicapping seminar, and other amenities, the companies said in a release.

The affiliation with CID Entertainment, which puts together similar packages for other events, is the first for NYRA. Saratoga opens on July 19, running Wednesdays through Mondays until Labor Day.
