Piecing together an early Pick-4 ticket on the Thurs. card at Saratoga shouldn't prove too costly, although that depends on how deep you want to go in Race 4 and how heavily you incrementalize. Bookend the play by using the Pletcher "free spaces" in Race 2, Corfu (#1), and Race 5, Our Amazing Rose (#6) while also giving equal emphasis to the dangerous Trombetta ship-in, Jerry Love (#4) in the R5 anchor leg. The goal in Race 3 is to beat the very vulnerable M/L fave, She’s Coal Fired (#4), while using the logical alternatives. And again, take your best shots in Race 4, the restricted Lottsa Talc.
