The much-needed last out might be what helps the ol’ turf-sprint pro VARSITY (#4, 9-2) get back to peak form in this ultra-rugged renewal of the Fiddlers Patriot. Speedster will be taking the fight to them at once; looking to complete the post-Dubai recovery. HEAR THE FOOTSTEPS (#1, 20-1) has never been better and should be a sweet price when stalking from the rail, while TIGHTEND TOUCHDOWN (#6, 3-1) is a legit type fave who could fill a saver’s role. SPRING TO THE SKY (#9, 12-1) and DOCTOR CHIT (#10, 10-1) both figure to have nice trips at decent princes.
