If Thursday's opener remains on the turf, the lightly raced La Coruna is dropping from the first-level allowance ranks into a restricted claimer where everyone else in the main body of the race has a record of 1-for-10 or worse. La Coruna is also getting a rider switch to Cornelio Velasquez, who has won with 11 of his last 23 mounts for trainer Barclay Tagg.

If La Coruna wins - and only if La Coruna wins - we'll parlay everything to This Just In, who was a vastly improved maiden gradate first-time Lasix.
