Saratoga Harness: Bare My Soul, Little Pink Lies tally in NYSS
Bare My Soul and Little Pink Lies delivered as the heavy favorites in a pair of New York Sire Stakes races for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Sunday night at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
Driver Scott Zeron landed in third with Bare My Soul in the first $82,500 section, but he had her out and on the move going to the 28 2/5 opening quarter. Bare My Soul cleared Gettinmystepsin (Tyler Miller) to take charge after that station, and from there, Bare My Soul clicked off a 58 second half and a 1:27 2/5 three-quarters before stepping home in 28 3/5 to defeat a gaining Pure Countess (Ake Svanstedt) by a length and a quarter in 1:56. Gettinmystepsin wound up third.
