Saratoga-Del Mar pick four pays $29.95
DEL MAR, Calif.- The 50-cent Saratoga-Del Mar all-stakes pick four returned $22.95 on a bet in which two races were won by the champions Songbird and California Chrome.
The pick four combined two Grade 1 races from Saratoga and two graded stakes from Del Mar on Saturday afternoon.
The winners were Tourist ($7.40) in the Fourstardave Stakes, Songbird ($2.40) in the Alabama Stakes, Ashleyluvssugar ($7) in the Grade 2 Del Mar Handicap, and California Chrome ($4.20) in the Grade 1 Pacific Classic. Tourist was the second choice, while the other runners were favored.
The all-stakes pick four had a handle of $618,380.
Songbird was the champion 2-year-old filly of 2015. California Chrome was the 2014 Horse of the Year and champion 3-year-old.
