Saratoga: Daveron likely to have one more race

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Daveron, an impressive winner of the Grade 2 Ballston Spa Stakes here Saturday, will likely have one more race before she is retired, owner Barry Irwin of Team Valor International indicated in a press release.

Daveron, a filly who benefits from time between races, would likely make that start in the Grade 1, $350,000 First Lady going a mile at Keeneland on Oct. 8 or the Grade 1, $250,000 Yellow Ribbon at Santa Anita going 1 1/4 miles Oct. 1.

Trainer Graham Motion said Monday that the First Lady might be the more logical of those two spots.
