Santa Anita: Two carryovers for Saturday's pick six

Steve Andersen|Feb 24, 2017

ARCADIA, Calif. - There are two carryovers in the pick six for Saturday’s program at Santa Anita.

There were no winning tickets in Friday’s pick six. The carryover in the main pool will be $33,758. The carryover in the single ticket jackpot pool is $7,233.

Friday’s pick six began without any carryovers from Monday’s program, the most previous day of racing.

Friday’s pick six pool was $63,189.

Saturday’s program begins at 12:30 p.m. Pacific. The pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on the nine-race program.

The winners of Friday’s pick six races were Trinitys Turn ($11.40), Latina Mo ($11.60), Place des Vosges ($9.80), Bitte ($4), Top Notch ($11.80), and Shezroxiie ($7.80). Bitte was the only winning favorite.

Consolation tickets with five winners Friday paid $395.

With the addition of the single ticket provision at the winter-spring meeting that began in late December, 70 percent of the net pool is dedicated to tickets with six winners, or into a carryover; 15 percent is paid to consolation tickets; and 15 percent is paid to a single ticketholder, or into a carryover pool until there is a single winning ticket, or a mandatory payout day.
