Santa Anita pick six returns $130,000

ARCADIA, Calif. - After a two-day carryover, the pick six paid $130,373 to 10 ticketholders at Santa Anita on Monday.

When Big Bane Theory ($4) won the ninth race, an optional claimer over 1 1/8 miles on turf, it assured the pick six would be hit. With that victory, all 14 runners in the 10th race, a sprint for maiden claimers, were covered on pick six tickets.

The day began with a carryover of $430,034 from Sunday. Bettors added $1,635,493 to the pool.

The pick six covered the fifth through 10th races. The winners were Keldy ($10.40), Final Step ($3.40), Twin Six ($44.20), Bob Consultation ($15.60), Big Bane Theory ($4), and Roust ‘Em Bertie ($12.20). Final Step and Big Bane Theory were favored.
