Santa Anita: Pick six carryover of $92,562 for Sunday

ARCADIA, Calif. – There is a carryover of $92,562 for Sunday’s nine-race program at Santa Anita.

An upset win by Secrets at Midnight ($37.40) in the sixth race was too tough to find for most ticketholders. After Moone’s My Name ($10.80) and Majestic Harbor ($13.60) won stakes in the seventh and eighth races, the carryover was clinched.

Sunday’s program has the typical structure for a nine-race card, with the pick six covering the fourth through ninth races. Racing begins at 12:30 p.m. Pacific.

On Saturday, there was only one early scratch for Sunday’s pick six races – Rose Butch has been withdrawn from the ninth race, a five-furlong dash for maiden claimers.

Sunday’s pick six races have fields of 7, 8, 9, 7, 11, and 10.

The seventh race is the $75,000 Santana Mile on the main track. Fury Kapcori, trained by Jerry Hollendorfer is 7-5 on the morning line for the Santana Mile, the lowest price on the morning line for any of Sunday’s nine races. The speedy Appealing Tale is 5-2 in the Santana Mile.
