Santa Anita: Pick-six carryover of $253,350 for Thursday
ARCADIA, Calif. - The Memorial Day racing week begins at Santa Anita on Thursday with a carryover of $253,350 in the single ticket pool of the $2 pick six.
The single ticket pool has not been hit since May 4.
Sunday, there were five winning tickets in the pick six worth $90,668. Consolation tickets with five winners were worth $438.
Interest in Sunday’s pick six was heightened by two carryovers from Saturday - $109,280 in the main pick six pool and $179,622 in the single ticket jackpot pool. Bettors added a robust $644,033 to the pool on Sunday.
The winners of Sunday’s pick six races were Cioppino Pasadino ($27.60), Lady Bellamy ($4.60), Zaffinah ($7.80), Moon Kitty ($6), Soi Phet ($13.20), and Moonless Sky ($15.60).
Lady Bellamy and Moon Kitty were favored.
Thursday’s pick six covers the third through eighth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m. Pacific.
