Santa Anita launches simulcast program

Santa Anita will provide daily televised coverage of its races on several websites as a substitute for full-time coverage on FanDuel TV, which no longer offers onsite coverage.

Santa Anita’s programming will be available on 1/ST.TV, and other platforms, including account wagering websites, the track said in a statement released on Friday.

FanDuel TV will offer some studio coverage of the track’s 19-day fall meeting which begins on Friday through Nov. 1, but has discontinued having a full production team at the track. FanDuel TV will continue to simulcast Santa Anita’s races this fall.

Santa Anita’s program will be hosted by Millie Ball, Zoe Cadman, Jessica Pyfer, and Michelle Yu.

FanDuel TV will offer onsite programming of the Del Mar autumn meeting in November before the network ceases all such programs on Dec. 1 when it switches to simulcast programming only.

In July, Los Alamitos launched a feed of its simulcast program on YouTube after FanDuel TV stopped having an ontrack production. The YouTube program covers the track’s evening meeting for Quarter Horses and lower-level Thoroughbreds and was used at the track’s two-week daytime Thoroughbred meeting that ended on Sept. 20.
