Spot PlaySEEKING THE SHERIF (#3, 8-5) is a win machine and catches Super Ninety Nine off a layoff – meaning he likely won’t be caught; key him in the multi-race gimmicks; in the individual-race exotics, use him on top over Midnight Transfer and to a lesser extent Castaway.– Byron King

Spot PlaySUSAN B GOOD (#5, 9-2) may be spotted for action. She really had no chance in her first turf try (just her 2nd start period) when she had a brutal post (10) going a mile. To her credit she stalked and stayed on decently to split the field, finishing 5th. She’s bred all over for this game being by Good Journey (strong grass sire; Grade 1 SW and SP on turf) and her 2 siblings to race are Oscillator (turf winner) and Susans Express (SW on turf). She has a much better draw, faces a couple suspect favorites and a rejuvenated Desormeaux sees fit to ride. -Michael Hammersly

Vulnerable FavoriteONEBADSHENANIGAN (#7, 7-2) takes the most important drop in the game (straight maiden to maiden claiming) and did show some talent and versatility in his only 2 starts at DMR last summer. Trouble is, he hasn’t been seen since so there’s a lengthy layoff to ponder as well as first time on dirt. So there are hurdles. -Michael Hammersly
