Saints N Muskets gets up to beat stablemate in Magnolia Stakes

Saints N Muskets won her second stakes race of the Delta Downs meet Tuesday, when she was up for a neck victory over stablemate Sarah’s Passion in the $75,000 Magnolia. Both horses are trained by Allen Landry.
It was another 4 3/4 lengths back in third to Smok’n Rita.
The Magnolia was a mile race for fillies and mares bred in Louisiana. It shared a card with the $75,000 Louisiana Jewel won by the promising Australasia. The Jewel was run over 7 1/2 furlongs and was restricted to 3-year-old fillies bred in Louisiana.
Both stakes figure to produce starters for Louisiana Premier Night on Feb. 10 at Delta.
