LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. - Royal Proclamation and Alice K White won major stakes for 3-year-old Quarter Horses at Los Alamitos over the weekend, the first career graded stakes win for both.\nRoyal Proclamation ($10.40) won Friday's $192,300 El Primero Del Ano Derby by a head over A Tempting Dash, the winner of the Los Alamitos Winter Derby in February. Royal Proclamation ran 400 yards in 19.475 seconds, setting a stakes record under jockey Ramon Sanchez.\nJimmy Delivers finished third in the field of 10 with Hawk on the Fly, the even-money favorite, running seventh after a poor start.\nRoyal Proclamation races for breeders Garvan Kelly and Nancy Yearsley and is trained by Paul Jones. He will be pointed for the Rainbow and All American derbies at Ruidoso Downs this summer.\nAlice K White was an easy winner of Saturday's $236,100 La Primera Del Ano Derby for fillies. Ridden by Cody Jensen, Alice K White ($5.40) won by three-quarters of a length over A Silver Flash. Dance Baby, a 28-1 outsider, finished third in the field of 10.\nAlice K White ran 400 yards in 19.51. Owned by MJ Farms and trained by Mike Joiner, Alice K White will be pointed to the Governor's Cup Derby at Los Alamitos this summer.
