By Tony Elves Older Horses Beautiful Diamond Profile comment: Winner of four of her 16 starts and currently rated 105. Finished third, beaten a length and a quarter, to stablemate Night Raider in the Group 2 Temple Stakes at Haydock (5f) in May. Trainer quote: Beautiful Diamond is a potential runner in the King Charles III Stakes but the ground may have quickened up too much for her by then. If she doesn’t go there she will probably go up to Ayr for a Listed race. She ran a great race at Haydock and is in great form. We will step her up to six at some time but she well go for one of those races next. Holloway Boy Winner of three of his 27 starts and currently rated 112. Placed in three of his four starts in Meydan and Doha this Winter and ran well on his return to action in this country when runner-up, beaten a length and a quarter, to Jonquil in the Listed Paradise Stakes at Ascot (1m) in May. He goes for the Royal Hunt Cup and he is in great form. He will obviously have a big weight on his back and I would imagine we will claim off him - we might get Jack Nicholls to claim 5lb off him. He loves the track and, hopefully, he will run a big race. Korker Winner of six of his 52 starts and currently rated 90. Finished sixth, beaten three lengths, to Lexington Jet at Chester (7f) in May off a mark of 91. He is doubtful for the Wokingham but if the ground was on the easy side he may turn up. Leovanni Winner of two of her six starts and currently rated 101. Finished fourth, beaten two lengths, to Diligent Harry in a Listed race at Lingfield (5f) in February. We are just up against it a little bit timewise and fitness-wise. We are going to work her a couple of times this week and we will take it from there. Night Raider Winner of six of his 16 starts and currently rated 112. Has improved significantly this season since being gelded and winner of both of his starts. Made all when beating Rumstar half a length in the Group 3 Palace House Stakes at Newmarket (5f) at the beginning of May and followed up with a length success from American Affair in the Group 2 Temple Stakes at Haydock (5f) later that month. He turns up for the King Charles III on the Tuesday. He is in great form and it won’t be an easy race for him but he certainly deserves to be in it. Whatever beats him will have had a race. Royal Rhyme Winner of five of his 18 starts and currently rated 113. Finished fifth, beaten three and a half lengths, to Lambourn in the Group 2 Huxley Stakes at Chester (1m 2 ½f) on his latest start in May. I would imagine he is unlikely to go for the Group 1 Prince Of Wales’s Stakes but I will speak to the powers that be and I was maybe thinking of lowering our sights and going for the Listed Wolferton Stakes on the same day. It might not be a bad move as the ground will probably be the slowest ground of the week that day so I am hoping that they might let me run him in that. Thunder Run Winner of four of his 13 starts and currently rated 103. Finished runner-up, beaten a length, to Warrant Holder at York (1m 2 1/2f) in May off a mark of 100. Thunder Run will go for the Hunt Cup as well. A mile and a quarter is his trip really but he will go for that as his owners are over from Scandinavia. He is in good form and should run well and it was a very good effort over a mile and a quarter at York last time. The John Smith’s Cup at York would be his main target. Zeus Olympios  Winner of four of his six starts and currently rated 120. Winner of his first four starts as a three-year-old which included a two and a quarter length success from Opera Ballo in the Group 2 Joel Stakes at Newmarket last September. Has run well both starts this term - finishing third in the Group 2 bet365 Mile at Sandown (1m) in April. He was third again, beaten two and three quarter lengths, to Notable Speech in the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury (1m) in May. With Zeus Olympios, again, I have to speak to the powers that be. If the ground is good on the Tuesday there’s a chance he will go for the Queen Anne Stakes. He is a very good horse but it is tough in those Group 1s and he’s run well in his two starts. I think there is more improvement to come from him physically and we might not rush him. We will see how he works this week. Three-Year-Olds Alparslan Winner of three of his five starts and currently rated 112. Made a winning reappearance in the Group 3 Greenham Stakes at Newbury (7f) in April when beating Zavateri a length. Creditable effort in the Group 1 Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh in May when fifth, beaten four and three quarter lengths, to Gstaad. He definitely won’t go for the Jersey and he would be doubtful for the Commonwealth Cup. I would say he would go for the Prix Jean Pratt at Longchamp on July 12. Royal Fixation Winner of two of her five starts and currently rated 111. Finished seventh, beaten six and a half lengths, to Song Of The Clyde in the Listed Carnarvon Stakes at Newbury (6f) in May on her stable debut. She will go for the Commonwealth Cup. She looks to me as though she hasn’t trained on but we will give it a go and see where we are after that. Super Soldier Winner of one of his nine starts and currently rated 100. Finished 11th of 12, beaten nine and a half lengths, to Aramram on his reappearance at Doncaster (6f) in March. He runs at York this week and he is in the Commonwealth but I am just wondering if seven furlongs is going to be more his trip now. I have to speak to the owners but I might just enter him in the Jersey. Venetian Sun Winner of five of her seven starts. Returned to winning form with a vengeance in the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock (6f) in May when beating Division by three lengths. Won the Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot (6f) last year by a length and a half from Awaken. She is bang on target for the Commonwealth Cup and she is in great shape. She was very impressive in the Sandy Lane and is a hot favourite for the race. You need a little luck with the draw etc but fingers crossed she gets there in one piece and puts up a real good show. Two-Year-Olds Light Of Dawn Scored easily by a length and a half from Capilano in a novice at Carlisle (6f) on Monday. She is a lovely filly and she has been bought to go to Ascot so she will end up in the Albany. It’s only ten days to the Albany and, unlike, Wild Blossom who was driven out to win by ten lengths when winning at Carlisle, she got taught a bit and wasn’t going to be given a hard time if we could help it. She was taking on three colts and they all had a bit of form and she was always going to come on fitness-wise. She is a filly who will improve through the year and she looks a big scopey filly. Love A Giggle Winner of both of her starts. Scored by two and a quarter lengths from Pershaada at Southwell (5f) in April and followed up with a head victory from Armor Supreme in the Listed Marygate Stakes at York (5f) in May. She has done nothing wrong in winning her two starts including the Marygate at York and has improved physically she will also go for the Queen Mary Stakes. Ruler's Pride Made an impressive debut at Ayr (5f) in May when beating subsequent Hilary Needler winner Crystal Queen three and a quarter lengths. Ruler’s Pride goes for the Coventry. James Doyle had a sit on him this morning for the first time and loved him. He is in great form and it's going to be a tough race but he is a big scopey animal and six furlongs is his trip. The form of his Ayr race has worked out well and he is a good quality horse. Wild Blossom Impressive 10 length winner from Crownbreaker in a novice at Carlisle (5f) in May. Wild Blossom goes for the Queen Mary. She was ten-length winner on her debut at Carlisle.
