LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Royal Academy filly named Vienna Calling led a string of fast workers Sunday who topped the work tab at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co.'s under-tack show.\nThe under-tack sessions on Saturday and Sunday previewed the OBS June 2-year-old sale, which runs Tuesday and Wednesday at the Ocala, Fla., facility.\nHip No. 310, a bay daughter of Royal Academy and British-bred Ballet Partner, by First Trump, covered an eighth-mile in 10 seconds on Sunday for the two sessions' fastest work over the distance. Potrero Stables, agent, is the consignor.\nThe rest of the weekend's quickest workouts all came on Sunday, courtesy of fillies.\nThe best quarter-mile work time of 20.80 seconds was by Hip No 347, a gray filly from Closing Argument's first crop. She is out of the West by West mare Chelsea Rose. Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables is the consigning agent.\nHip No. 323 had the weekend's fastest three-eighths-mile work, going in 33 seconds. The dark bay or brown filly is by City Place out of Black Tie Royalty, by Black Tie Affair. She is part of the Blue River Bloodstock consignment.\nOn Saturday, the four juveniles with the day's fastest eighth-mile time of 10.20 seconds all were fillies. They were Hip No. 12, a Domestic Dispute-Lightening Mark filly consigned by Ricky Leppala, agent; Hip No. 40, a Maria's Mon-Merit Wings filly consigned by Wavertree; Hip No. 136, a Closing Argument-Royal Jubilation filly consigned by Tradewinds Farm, agent; and Hip No. 170, a Eurosilver-Sir Harriett filly offered by Crupi's New Castle Farm, agent.\nSaturday's fastest quarter-mile time was Hip No. 30's work in 21.20 seconds.
